Delete your Match Planner account

Applies to the Match Planner app by Lemonkode (Pty) Ltd, as listed on Google Play and the App Store.  ·  Governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa

You can delete your Match Planner account and the personal information associated with it at any time, either directly in the app or by emailing us. This page explains both routes and exactly what is deleted and what is retained.

Delete your account in the app (fastest)

1. Open Match Planner and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab → Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm. Deletion takes effect immediately.

Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, email support@matchplanner.io from the email address on your account — or, if you no longer have access to that address, include your name and Bowls SA (BSA) membership number so we can verify that the request is genuinely yours. We action verified requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials
• Your player profile — name, email address, BSA number, avatar, bio, club links, statistics and experience points (XP)
• Your friends, follows and friend requests
• Your notifications and activity-feed appearances
• Players you have blocked or who blocked you (the block records)
• Guest players you created

What is retained

• Anonymised match and tournament records. Completed matches and tournament fixtures you took part in are kept so other players’ results and competition standings stay accurate, but your identity is removed and replaced with an anonymised placeholder (“Deleted player”), except where your name forms part of a team or tournament title entered by an organiser.
• Safety records. Reports filed about or by your account may be retained where needed for safety, fraud-prevention or legal reasons.
• Backups. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 90 days.
